Neil Young celebrates Musicares charity honour

Singer-songwriter Neil Young enjoyed 20 of his best known hits sung by the likes of Elton John as he was honoured by the US Recording Academy.

Young, 64, was named the Musicares person of the year for his "influential artistic accomplishments and philanthropic work".

John sang Helpless and told the audience Young was "my hero".

"It's been a great night. It wore me out. Now I've got to go back and try and write some more songs," Young said.

IT Intern

It has been over 3 years now (June 05) since I joined as an intern working in the CBS Interactive tech team. I was still a university student at that stage, in my 4th year studying Computer Systems Engineering at UTS. Working at CBS

Working for CBS Interactive has been great fun! I joined in March 2007 as a Junior Video Editor after finishing my Diploma in Digital Media.

Since then I have had the privilege on going on fun and exciting location shoots, editing creative and educational videos, traveling around Australia and meeting up with Celebrities.

Recently I got promoted as a Video Producer and now have a great team under me that I help manage and drive as the Video Team. I wouldn’t trade my job with anything else!
