Boosting the Australian creative digital industries
All my friends were really creative and I since learnt that 20,000 people graduate from Creative Industries-related courses every year in Australia!! So there's lots of great talent, but there was a weird disconnect between people looking for work and people looking for employees.
So I founded 60Sox - 60Sox.org.au . Many people have got work as a result of having their original creative material on 60Sox and our team of industry experts (the 2bobmob) give feedback on work on the network every month.
Come and check it out, it's free, it's funky and there's really cool work on there!

IT Intern
It has been over 3 years now (June 05) since I joined as an intern working in the CBS Interactive tech team. I was still a university student at that stage, in my 4th year studying Computer Systems Engineering at UTS. The role enabled me to gain valuable insight into the corporate-nature of technology - its applications and challenges for the company, and how I, as an engineer fit in to the equation.

Working at CBS
Working for CBS Interactive has been great fun! I joined in March 2007 as a Junior Video Editor after finishing my Diploma in Digital Media.
Since then I have had the privilege on going on fun and exciting location shoots, editing creative and educational videos, traveling around Australia and meeting up with Celebrities.
Recently I got promoted as a Video Producer and now have a great team under me that I help manage and drive as the Video Team. I wouldn’t trade my job with anything else!

I first started working for CBS Interactive back in June 07 as an intern for GameSpot.
